Low Power PCs

Personal Computer have changed the people life. And every person have a PC in their home in a normal family. And my opinion every one need a PC. But due the the huge amount of use of the energy due to the Computer in huge sector, the energy consumed is growing day by day. And there must be some solution to this problem. If the huge computer can be made to work in low power available then we can managed the energy saving and bring a revolution in the world.

After some research we found that Low Power PC has been introduced by some people around the world and has been a great success. It has a saying that its energy costs reduced 60% of the current energy consumption. So a Low Power PC can be a great revolution for the people and countries.

Its not just about the power consumption, but they are also the cheapest found on market. If people are really concious about the energy and the money then, I suggest people surely should get a one. I have order a piece for myself, as every good things should be started from ownself.

Save energy, Save world – Go green.

New Generation PC 5.1 Speaker Systems

I’d like to make this clear right out of the gate: I am not an audiophile. I’m not one of those people who would spend a few thousand dollars on a soundsystem – not for my home, my car, or my PC. I’m more the kind of person whose jaw drops when he tries to understand how some people pay $50 per foot for premium speaker wire. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with that if you’re an enthusiast, but it is just not my cup of tea.

That’s not to say that I don’t enjoy high quality sound, because I really do. In fact, my lifelong love affair with the PC has really fostered my appreciation for higher quality audio over the years. For example, I was exposed to the wonders of what a subwoofer can do a few years before they became commonplace in the living rooms of America, because they are so common in PC speaker systems. I consider my Logitech Z-560s to be the best PC-related purchase in my life – as well as the longest lasting.

I guess I can sum things up this way: I might not be an audiophile, but I am the kind of guy who enjoys showing his buddies what some brutally graceful Z-560s can do. I like to crank up the volume and play the opening scene of “Ice Age” – you know, the part where “Scrat” is trying to escape from a couple of massive glacial avalanches? The scene is an awesome way to show off the bass and highs; the Z-560 subwoofer can literally shake knick-knacks off of shelves during this scene. My wife hates it…

My trusty Z-560′s are still providing fantastic service, but they’re starting to show their age. They’re 4.1 instead of 5.1; they have no discrete subwoofer channel or wireless remote; and the only inputs are ¼” stereo jacks. They still rock my world, but thinking about them got me wondering… what has the PC audio industry accomplished in the last 5 years? What new speaker features have arrived to make our audible lives better?

To that end, we’re going to be examining three new PC speaker systems with some unique and new functionality: Logitech’s Z-5450, Creative’s Gigaworks ProGamer 550W, and Altec Lansing’s FX5051.

The World’s Most Advanced 3D Mouse

Despite the fact that most professionals actively involved in technological design and engineering pretty much rely on normal mice while working in 3D modeling applications, the truth of the matter is that there are also certain specialized devices available out there, which will be able to deliver an enhanced level of functionality and improve the workflow. And that’s exactly the case with the device you’re about to see as follows, namely the SpacePilot PRO 3D Mouse, which has just been introduced by 3Dconnexion.

According to 3Dconnexion (which, by the way, is a Logitech subsidiary), the new peripheral can deliver “advanced control of 3D models, easier access to the raw power of professional 3D applications, fewer interruptions in the design workflow, and superior comfort.”

One of the main new features provided by the fresh 3Dconnexion mouse is the LCD Workflow Assistant, namely a color LCD that lists function-key assignments and provides quick access to Microsoft Outlook e-mail, calendar and task lists, allowing professionals to access important information for a fully integrated design experience.

Another important feature worth mentioning about the SpacePilot PRO is the advanced MCAD navigation system, consisting of five new dual-function QuickView Navigation keys that improve error detection, design review, and design presentation by providing one-touch access to the following views: top and bottom, right and left, front and back, two isometric views, and 90-degree view rotation of any view either clockwise or counter-clockwise – for a total of 32 views. In addition, fresh Navigation Setting keys offer simplified and customizable control, allowing users to turn pan-and-zoom, rotation and one-axis control on or off, making it easier to define navigation settings for certain work modes.

Furthermore, the device sports five new fully customizable, dual-function keys that offer immediate, one-touch access to 10 frequently used commands, at the same time being able to deliver a high level of comfort, via the sculpted, soft-coated wrist rest that positions the hand in relation to the controller cap to support a balanced workflow. The micro-precision six-degrees-of-freedom sensor allows for fingertip control with minimal effort from the arm, wrist and hand, while frequently used commands are conveniently positioned at your fingertips. The intuitive and symmetrical layout of the function keys makes the device usable with either hand.

As expected, the peripheral from 3Dconnexion is more expensive than your average peripheral, the SpacePilot PRO selling for around $499, which, however, is a price most pros may pay gladly, given the features this thing can deliver.
